I have a few minor revision suggestions, if you don’t mind:
“…campuses have only got male…” -> “…campuses have only male…”
“bathrooms, which can be intimidating, scary, cause anxiety, feelings of exclusion and more for people who do not feel they fit into either of these categories, or who may face abuse due to their outward appearance not matching their gender identity.” -> “bathrooms. These can be intimidating or scary, or can cause anxiety or feelings of exclusion, for people…” It’s a little bit of an awkward construction, but your original phrasing uses a list in which all the items are not parallel. For example, scary is an adjective and cause anxiety is a phrase, so the two are not parallel grammatically.
“to get a gender neutral toilet…” -> “to convince the administration at my university to install a gender neutral toilet.”
“addressed this issue and most…” -> “addressed this issue, and most…”
“while and I am sure…” -> “while, and I am sure”
Hope at least some of these suggestions help you. It’s an interesting proposal that I’d never thought about before, and I wish you luck. :)
